Hello My name is Matilda and I'm a Secondary Maths teacher in an outstanding school. Prior to teaching I have 7 years experience in education by being a high level maths teaching assistant and tutoring. I gained my secondary maths PGCE from Manchester metropolitan university and I also have a degree in Economics I have always believed there is more than one way to teach mathematics which is why I learn about the children and assess how they learn, which enables me to plan series of lessons that suit their needs. I am available for tutoring immediately. I usually start out by doing some standard questions in the first two sessions, but after I've picked up where my tutee may be struggling (or if they ask me for specific help) I make a personalised timetable of study - which usually includes a manageable amount of extra work. I am able to tutor Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm. I can also accommodate weekend sessions if that suits. I look forward to helping you out!
