Beginning of the course: The first hour is above all an hour of discovery of the student, knowing his level, his ambitions, his rhythm. From there we can establish a work plan. The courses are not necessarily done by theory (grammar, phonetics), but more often on oral practice (exercise of pronunciation, free discussions, varied and/or specific for the most advanced). All animated by playful games of general culture or the language itself. For those wishing to focus more on grammar or writing. We can opt for the translation of an extract from a book or standard sentences. Don't hesitate to want to talk about a subject you are passionate about, it always makes learning much better :)
Mastering the language of Molière, both beautiful and complex, is not easy even for native speakers. This is why I offer French as a foreign language courses rather focused on oral practice, but obviously accompanied by a theoretical base. I adapt to each person's pace and preferences, on the topic of conversation that interests them. For beginners, I suggest starting with everyday vocabulary, expressions of standard French and/or specific to the country. For the more advanced, we can start discussions on a subject that fascinates them from their language to French.
The first minutes will be focused on the theory (in English, French or both if asked), and some culture of the western music. Then we will practise on the instrument. The program is free, the student can bring any sheets he wants. He will be advised on the manuel technic (how to place his/her hands, how to read efficiently).
Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere. At the beginning of the lesson, the student will be trained by some theory, not the best part for most people. But with the help of mnemotechnic methods, those basics won't have a secret for him/her anymore ;) Then, I will adapt the pratical part depending on the student's level...and will of course ;) He/She can bring the music piece he would like to play.
