Hello there! My name is Tamir. I am an Israeli cellist living in Berlin, and for the past years I have been performing in various renowned festival such as Yellow Barn, Lumières d’Europa and Geneva International Academy while pursuing my bachelors degree under the guidance of Prof. Frans Helmerson. Throughout the years, I have always been fascinated with the art of teaching. Through my main mentor, Prof. Zvi Plesser (The Julliard School), I learned more then just cello playing. I learned the value of persistence, search for beauty and expression. I have had the fortune of working and performing with todays most prominent musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Krzysztof Chorzelski (Belcea Quartet), Donald Weilerstein and Gary Hoffman. Now, after finishing my studies, I am eager to share my knowledge with you!
