I am a Belgian harpist (°1992) graduated from the conservatory of Antwerp, where I also followed the Alexander Technique. I gained experience in teaching at Art Academy De Poel (Ghent), Einstein Atheneum (Oostakker) and through private lessons. I like to pay a lot of attention to a good, relaxed posture and technique. This prevents complaints in the long term and also benefits a beautiful sound. Passionate pupils and students of all levels are welcome to explore the instrument, repertoire and music in general together. Improvisation and playing music by ear can also be part of the lesson if interested.

I’ve been studying classical Piano since I was 9 years old, At the age of 16 I was accepted in the Exceptional Young Talent program at the Vienna Konservatorium Budapest, after studying for 4 years and finishing the program, I moved to Belgium and I obtained my Bachelor at Royal Conservatory of Ghent and I’m pursuing my career here ever since, I have won International Piano Competitions, I have played solo concerts in Paris, Poland, Budapest, Vienna, Mallorca. I teach with different methods depending the person’s age, and personality.

I have been drumming for eighteen years and play/have played in a drum band, a youth orchestra, a big band, a rock band, a folk band and in cover bands. My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge. If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas. I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language. I graduated from the KSO of East Flanders as a classical pianist and composer and am now studying at the conservatory of Ghent with Daan Vandewalle. I can perfectly teach someone notes or piano and I already have some experience with this.

Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.
