I’m an experienced guitarist and I can help those of all abilities and ages looking to learn the instrument or develops their skills. I’ve been playing for 16 years and I’m well versed in most genres and styles of music. Open to all stages of learning whether you want to focus on fundamentals and guitar theory or develop your own style and technique. I can support anyone looking to gain knowledge of harmony, chord melody, soloing, popular and unconventional song structure and style. Or if you want to learn other songs and build up your repertoire. My musical background is primarily as a jazz guitarist, specialising in improvisation and composition. This is something I can work on with students once core skills are acquired. I can also help get students get up to speed with their grade exams and offer musical theory support. Aside from my experience as a guitarist, I play in different bands as a Writer and composer. I have experience as a recording artist at Abbey Road studios and I can teach students about song writing and composition. I’m fluent on music softwares such as Logic Pro X and Ableton and offer Music Production and Recording technique classes at my own studio in Clapton East London. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument.
