Hello, welcome to my ad! My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. Over the years, I have been able to accompany around forty students, both in private lessons, group lessons and at the conservatory where I teach today. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar. My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician. We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities. Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
