My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. Besides the basic technique and theory knowledge, which Ι make sure to provide to each of my students , I individually prepare their study line, according to their taste and abilities. My goal is to help my students to find their own musicality and reveal their inner voice by giving them the most appropriate tools. Besides teaching I have two bands which I give lots of concerts with , at several venues and festivals.

Hi there! I am Billy, a musician from Greece. I have been playing drums professionally for the last 10 years performing with great musicians in great venues and festivals all over the world. The last three years I have worked as a drum teacher in private lessons and music conservatories in Budapest (HU) and in Larissa (GR). I have studied Jazz Drumming in the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (2017-2020). The lessons are designed for all skill levels and cover any genre of music you would like to learn.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Learn guitar with me! I'm an experienced educator and a musician that has struggled himself with learning music, and working on the field. We can work from any level that you might be and make music and guitar learning fun and interesting! As a working musician for many years I have experience in a lot of music genres and styles, so I think we can explore anything that you're interested in, in a very deep and detailed level!

I love teaching guitar, and I am good at it. Learning music is similar to learning a language. We learn by imitating the sounds that we hear. During this stage, I also incorporate proper technique; how the instrument should be held and how the strings should be strummed or plucked. Once the sound is adequately imitated, we look at influences and start developing vocabulary. Finally, I want to ensure the student can replicate these precise sounds. I do this by teaching the theory and reasoning behind the vocabulary. Music and guitar is my passion. I love to share my passion with anyone wanting to learn. Thank you, hope to hear from you soon.

I want to base my lessons on playing the guitar and related instruments in a way that feels mastered and personal. I therefore want to focus on expression, technique and the aurally malleable nature of the instrument, for example by discussing extended techniques and the use of effect pedals. I want to invite the students to learn to listen carefully to the impact of different playing techniques and audio effects. During the lessons I want to cover different kinds of music theory, especially in an "applied" way that is valuable to the student. I also want to deal with recording and producing my own work. Owning your own effects pedals, a guitar amplifier or recording equipment is not required for this course.

Hi, I’m Heewon from South Korea and I currently study music in HKU Conservatory. For about 14 years I have studied various aspects of music, I’ve studied piano, vocals and composition, and now I am studying piano in the jazz and pop course. Not only have I played lots of jazz and pop, I have played lots of classical, neo-soul and gospel, to me it’s important to be well versed in lots of genre’s. How amazing is it to play the music that lives in your head? Piano is by no means difficult, it make’s for a great hobby and is a wonderful stress reliever. My class is open for people of all skill levels and is held in English or Korean. Essential parts of my lessons are: -Tailor-made lessons to suit your skill level and needs. *For beginners we’ll go through basic piano skills, basic music theory and reading sheet music. *If you're an intermediate, you'll be given a class that suits your level, needs and wishes. Students will be playing music from the very first lesson, and acquiring foundational skills and theoretical knowledge through learning your favourite songs. As an experienced performing musician with a PhD in music, I focus on ‘doing’ rather than ‘knowing’, whether that involves learning songs, developing improvisational techniques or songwriting. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory. It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play. These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. The lessons are given according to the wishes and level of the student. Hi, I'm Emi, I'm a singer-sonwriter and I play in a band. I also give music lessons at primary schools. This as part of a broader program. I am a graduated philosopher. I give citizenship and creative development. I have been in music for over 20 years and have followed many, often shorter, courses. I also give private guitar lessons, mainly to children, but also to adults. Then songwriting is often added. I enjoy teaching and I enjoy it.

I currently study guitar at the Utrecht Conservatorium, specialised in electric guitar. 

I am competent to teach basic guitar skills to beginners. I have experience in both teaching kids and adults. I speak Russian and English languages fluently, can give basic instructions in Greek too. My lessons are adapted to the interests of the students and their necessities, using more didactic methodologies with the kids. I encourage healthy relationships with the instrument and music, I will help to establish efficient practice routine. With beginners we will start developing deeper understanding of music, sense of rhythm, fingers , we focus on acquiring the basic skills of accompaniment and playing lines. This class is most suitable for you: If you are willing to get into Electronic Music Production. You are interested in Techno, Tech House, Melodic Techno. You are a listener and have basic knowledge about electronic music. You already started making music on Ableton Live, but you couldn't actually finish a track yet. You already produce on different DAW's but want to learn how Ableton Live Works. You already released tracks and willing to further enhance your knowledge about both Ableton Live and Electronic Music Scene in general. You just want a couple of sessions to get professional feedback and advice about your work.

Learning the Piano can be fun, especially when it is designed to meet your individual needs! Lessons are adapted to each student's preferences, based on their orientation and level, from beginners to advanced students. As a graduate classical pianist and also experienced Jazz musician (currently studying Jazz/Pop Piano in HKU), I can help you work your way around a variety of genres and repertoire in order to achieve your personal goals and express yourself through the art of playing the piano. I can also help singers that want to accompany themselves the most convenient way and also people that would like to use the piano as a tool to write their own music. I use both my own material of sheets and notes that I create specifically for each student, but also several books and a variety of methods. Some basic music theory is usually integrated to the piano lessons I give, in order to have a more complete understanding of the practical concepts but it could also be taught separately.

Hi! My name is Marie and I study Jazz/Pop singing at the Utrecht Conservatory. In my lessons, we will show your strengths even more and explore what you need to overcome your vocal obstacles. Singing is something that everyone has and can develop. It's a unique way to express yourself creatively and tell a story and I want to ensure that in my classes. Every genre is welcome with me: Jazz and improvisation, Pop, R&B, Soul, Musical and Cabaret, you name it. Or do you want to learn to write music yourself? I can certainly help you with this as well. I also have the necessary theater experience with which I can teach you a lot about text interpretation and performance techniques.
