Hello, I am professional Artist & Academic. My practice explores the relationship between new media and gender. My most recent paper was given at Warwick University's 'Precarity & Precariousness' conference. I was the Keynote Speaker at this event. While I am working as a freelance artist and academic, I am unable to work at a university full time. However, I would like to take on a few students for regular lessons in English as a Second Language and Essay Writing. I have experience giving tutorials, lectures and papers at universities. I also have experience with private 1on1 tutoring for English GCSE students. My experiences in these professions has also equipped me with the skills to speak and write confidently using formal English. I am originally from London and have a clear Received English accent. My qualifications include: FdA Fine Art: Sculpture [Merit] BA (Hons) Sound Arts & Design [First Class] MLitt Fine Art Practice: Sculpture [Merit] Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
