I am a qualified teacher obtaining the LRAM teaching qualification form the Royal Academy of Music in London.

I'm currently offering private music lessons on any brass instruments or music theory lessons. I'm a British Musician currently studying my Master's Degree in Orchestral Music Performance at the Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Gothenburg. Before moving to Sweden I finished my undergrad at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and have had 5 years of experience working professionally as a musician across the UK. I have plenty of experience teaching the French horn privately (my main instrument) to any age and I was the Brass teacher at a private school in Guildford for two years, where I taught kids playing on all brass instruments. I would also be confident teaching music theory too, to all levels and ages. If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
