The fact that I am still studying myself works to my advantage. The subject matter is still fresh in my memory. First, I start the lesson by asking what they do not understand well (I prefer to do this before the lesson so that I already have a bit of an idea of the subject the tutoring will be about), what tests they have in the future or whether they have homework... Afterwards, we go over the theory together and do exercises. If I see that he/she has mastered it, I let him/her work individually. Finally, I correct the exercises and, if necessary, create a study plan/exam plan together with him/her. I think it is important that they learn to learn, because that increases the chances of success! Every student is different and therefore every tutoring session is also different. Some indicate that they want to focus more on the exercises, others want to find an effective learning strategy together with me. I am flexible, patient, eager to learn and helpful. I also certainly appreciate feedback from the student/parent! Target group: primary school + 1st to 4th year of secondary school
