I believe that everyone can draw. All it takes is to sit down, start, and keep practicing. I have taught myself to draw faces/portraits and that is why I am very enthusiastic about conveying my creative process to others, so that they can also get started with what they want to create. I have developed my art and creative process throughout my life. After training at three different art academies, including Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam, I have now been working full-time as an artist for 8 years. I make my works with acrylic paint, but I still draw and sketch a lot on paper. My art style is a mix of spontaneous realism and abstract use of color, pop art and comic style.
