I have acquired BSc in "Economics & Business Economics" in Maastricht University. I specialized in teaching game theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. Moreover, I have over 1 year of teaching experience. I focus on fundamentals using theoretical and real-life examples for the best understanding of the economic concepts. I also focus on application of the knowledge acquired to solidify the knowledge. These skills are important for passing standard exams and assignments.
I cover various topics including:
-IS/LM Models, Elasticity
-Managerial Economics
-Industrial Organization
-Econometrics
-Linear, Multiple and Logistic regression and time series analysis.
-Give interpretations and predictions of regression analysis.
-International Economics
-Mixed Nash Equilibrium, Bayesian Nash Equilibrium, Double Marginalization, Prisoner's dilemma
-Finitely and Infinitely Repeated Games, Extensive Form Games, Principal Agent Problems
I am an Economics graduate with the strong background in Econometrics, Statistics, and Data Analytics. Moreover, I have worked for Unilever (Fortune 200 company) as a Data Analyst, where I have applied my Econometrics, Statistics, Economics and Data Analytics knowledge using tools such as: Python (Pandas, Numpy), MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS PowerBI and SQL.
Due to my educational background I possess high level knowledge of:
-Linear, Multiple and Logistic regression and time series analysis.
-Give interpretations and predictions of regression analysis.
-Descriptive statistics (Mean, Median Mode, Skewness, Kurtosis, etc.)
-Inferential statistics
-Chi-Square Tests, Confidence Interval
-Monte Carlo simulation
-Anova Analysis
-Hypothesis Testing (T -tests, Z test, F-tests),
-Correlation Analysis and interpretation.
-Non-Parametric Tests (Kruskal-Wallis, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Tests, etc.)
Tools: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS PowerBI, Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Spark), STATA, eViews, SQL
As an educator specializing in Data Analytics, I provide expert instruction in essential tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, and PowerBI. These applications have emerged as critical components across various industry landscapes as well as in personal ventures, making the mastery of such skills immensely valuable. Additionally, I place an emphasis on soft skills training - areas such as data storytelling, presentation, and communication, which are often overlooked by many instructors, yet crucial in today's data-driven world.
Bringing rich experience in teaching a diverse age spectrum, I steadfastly adhere to fundamental teaching principles. These encompass segmentation for digestible understanding, visualization for tracking progress, tangible results as benchmarks of learning, and real-world applications to refine acquired skills.
Recognizing that effective learning strategies can differ greatly among individuals, I understand that there is no universally successful method. He's nice and easy to work with
Nick was very helpful and explained all the content to me that I didn't understand. Would highly recommend!
Very helpful tutor and is good at explaining difficult problems for a student to better understand them efficiently.
Good tutor, helpful classes
Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!
