Hi Music Lovers! I teach piano, musical composition writing, ear training, musical improvisation, early music education for young children(age 2 to 8) and kids with mental and physical disabilities. I am Asli, a Classical composition student at Royal Danish Academy of Music studying my Bachelors degree at the moment. I have finished my High school in the Purcell School in London, UK with joint first study composition and piano. I had my pieces premiered internationally such as in London, Birmingham, Rotterdam, Istanbul, Manchester and Copenhagen. I also studied piano as my first study from the ages 7 to 18 and participated in international festivals, Masterclasses and concerts in London, Birmingham, Amalfi, Ankara, Istanbul, Manchester and Glasgow. I have also participated in various workshops for music teaching to young kids and those with disabilities. I also have experience teaching for people in all ages and with disabilities. The lessons would be in either English or in Turkish.

With my classes, not only will you learn to play with ease, you will also be able to crack the code of music, so you will understand how notes, chords, rhythm and music theory relate to each other. You will no longer be simply playing through mindless memorization or repetition. You will also learn how to listen to yourself and recognize when you have played well, and when you have made mistakes. Although I am classically trained, I started guitar playing rhythmic music, such as nirvana and the beatles, and I still have a deep understanding of the style and have taught it for years. I aim to teach guitar the right way, without taking short cuts that limit knowledge and development later on. I have a personalised approach to each student, refusing to force them to play exactly as I do, but helping them to refine their own innate technique. To that end, I create my own exercises for my students, compiling the best from the existing literature, and am working to creating my own guitar method book. Hello, I'm Jia. I'm currently in my first year of pursuing a Master's degree in cello at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark. I completed my undergraduate studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in China and have 5 years of teaching experience. Originally from Australia from Italian parentage, I lived in the UK for 31 years before settling in Denmark. Music has been the centre of my life and I love having the privilege of being able to share it in as many ways possible. With many years of solo concert experience and over 25 years of teaching experience, I am offering limited slots for anyone wishing to learn piano either from scratch or to the highest level of performance. I have previously taught children aged 7-12 in two London Primary schools, as well as teenagers and adults at all levels. I offer accordion lessons for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level players who want to play the instrument and simply enjoy the music. I have been playing the instrument since 2007 and therefore I can offer various comments and tips for different levels of playing and give you various repertoire. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. As an Oud and music teacher, I am driven by my passion for music and my desire to help others discover the beauty of this art form. I have always been fascinated by the unique sounds and rhythms of the Oud, and I feel privileged to share my knowledge and experience with students of all ages and backgrounds. My goal is to help students develop the skills and confidence needed to perform music .

I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice. We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time! It’s going to be a lot of fun!
