My husband and I are probably considered advanced beginner Spanish speakers. We booked a week of lessons with Camilo in Medellin Colombia while we were spending time there and it was a very good experience. Camilo is not just someone who speaks the language; He is educated as a teacher and it shows. For me he did just the right amount of leading/teaching, listening, and correcting. His English is also very good, which was helpful the few times it made more sense to ask/answer in English. He is also a very nice and pleasant person to be with. I highly recommend him as a teacher and imagine that he would be just as good a teacher with true beginners as well as advanced speakers.

Camilo has worked with my son and me in person to help us with Spanish as we have been in Medellín. We plan to continue lessons with him when we return to the United States. He is organized and adapts well to each of our different levels. I recommend him as a teacher.

I did 3 months of classes with Camilo this year. I had a basic level of Spanish with a good understanding (I'm Italian) and could improve so much in so little time, giving me the tools to keep studying by myself now that I got home. Highly recommended!

We had eight classes with camilo, five during the week that we were in Medellin and three online while we were still in Boston. Our Spanish is fairly advanced so we weren't looking to learn basic grammar. Camilo did an excellent job of matching his classes to our level of Spanish. He is fluent in english which helped when we wanted to know how to say a particular expression.

Camilo is an excellent Spanish teacher. We’ve been working together for 2.5 months and my Spanish has advanced so much. I’ve worked with teachers in the past and have taken a lot of classes, I can confidently say from experience that Camilo really knows what he’s doing. His lessons are well planned and thorough, the homework assignments are not too time consuming and really focus on the topic we are learning and help me advance a lot. He’s a genuinely nice person and I enjoy our conversations. Class time always goes by so quickly because it’s a lot of fun (and we check out different cafes around Medellin which is also fun!). I highly highly recommend Camilo as your Spanish teacher!
