Hello, My name is Erik and I am a professional drummer and percussionist. My passion for the huge and beautiful world of percussion has led me to China and back and if you are also interested, I would be happy to guide you and teach you the techniques of drums and percussion. During the lessons, I will cover all musical and technical aspects so that you can bond with your instrument, feel comfortable and express yourself through drums and percussion. I teach a wide range of percussion instruments such as: drums, congas, timpani, cajón, batá drums and many more. Individual lessons, as well as group lessons, for all ages. In addition, I also offer percussion workshops, customizable on demand. I also offer online lessons on Zoom, Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp and Wechat. I graduated from Codarts Rotterdam, the Netherlands with a Masters in Music (MMus) Cum Laude. Meanwhile, I also worked as a teacher at Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China, mainly as a music teacher and coordinator of the conservatory's World Music department. I perform regularly with several groups and projects in the Benelux.
