This course is intended for people wanting to start playing drums. The goal is to introduce people to the instrument and to have fun. Although the basics (drums and music theory) are generic, the rest of the teaching adapts to the student's goals. For children, parents are welcome to attend the class!

Drums form the rhythmic foundation of any modern musical style. Polyrhythms, grooves, breaks, fills, all this jargon is part of the tools and techniques developed through the practice of this instrument. The most important thing, however, is to have fun. A few basics are already enough to start having fun! I always listen and adapt the program to the student's wishes and objectives. Whether it's to refine your technique, discover styles, or just exercise once a week, the drums are a versatile and quick to learn instrument. Basic music theory can also be taught if necessary. About me: I started classical percussion in Geneva, at the Conservatoire populaire, at 9 years old, and continued until obtaining my certificate (with honors) in 2015. At the same time, I started playing drums at 15 years old. I immediately fell in love with this instrument, and I never stopped. I trained in jazz, but have played in many projects with varied styles since I was 18.
