A common excuse that people for whom English is not their first language use to dismiss their inability to speak and use the language well is, 'After all, it's not my language.' Well, it is, if your successfully getting by from day to day depends on it! The English language is unarguably a universal means of communication and the ability to speak and write it well will always give you an advantage in almost every field of endeavour in life - work, school, with your children and at their school; interacting with neighbours or at the shops and so on. You do not, necessarily have to speak with a crisp British accent, but you do need to be able to speak and write with your tenses, verb-subject agreement, spelling, punctuation etc. in place. My class is designed to help you with this and also, get you beyond just the basics of the use of English, by teaching you about and showing you how to use the different parts of speech, language registers and so on. You will also learn how to pronounce words properly. And all of this in a fun and exciting way! The result will be a better command of the English language and greater self-confidence.
